File Size Optimization
How to reduce file size without losing quality:
1. Adjust Bitrate (Recommended)
For films 20+ minutes, reducing bitrate saves significant space with minimal quality loss:
2. Use VBR Instead of CBR
Variable Bitrate adapts to scene complexity, saving space on simple scenes while maintaining quality on complex ones.
3. Ensure Progressive Scan
Interlaced video files are larger. Always export as Progressive for optimal file size.
4. Two-Pass Encoding (Optional)
Takes twice as long but provides better quality at the same file size. Worth it for final submissions.
